Outreach Commission

Outreach Commission is responsible for overseeing these activities:

Maintaining communications: Website, Facebook, Bulletin Board

Mission Moments (a monthly presentation on one of the church's current mission projects)

Senior activities such as the exercise group

Church family picnic: held annually in the early fall

P.R.A.Y. meal ministry: provides a meal to people who have just been released from a hospital

Wauconda Care Centre Worship Service: 3rd Sunday afternoon of each month

Wauconda-Island Lake Food Pantry: regular donations of food and other necessities

Adopt-A-Road: volunteers gather twice a year to clean a designated strip of highway

Bottomless Closet: a non-profit organization which provides clothing to women on assistance

who don't have suitable clothing to wear to a job interview

Relay for Life: activities to raise money for the American Cancer Society

One Great Hour of Sharing: the multi-denominational special mission offering that carries

God's message of love and hope to people in more than 80 countries.

Regular donations to the Marcy-Newberry and India Re-Connect projects
