Join us to celebrate Pentecost and Confirmation Sunday on May 24th at 9:30 am. On Pentecost, one of the Confirmands will be baptized, and three of the confirmands will be confirmed on Sunday. The term "confirmation" marks the first time a baptized Christian publicly "confirms" their intention to live the vows of the baptismal and membership covenant, thereby becoming a professing member of the local congregation.

We are so excited about our confirmands, who have worked hard for 8 months studying God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, our beliefs, worship, sacraments, our American Baptist and United Methodist denominations, our founders, our church histories, and how to be good Christians. They also learned Bible stories and memorized the 10 commandments and the order of the Bible. They went on field trips and engaged in hands-on ministries in the church and the communities. We will celebrate their accomplishments and joyfully welcome them as our new full members of the Federated Church.

There will be a reception right after the worship service. Please join us to celebrate their achievements and being confirmed in Christ.
